"My family and I (2 adults, 2 children) ate here for dinner! We had no reservations (not knowing we needed them), but fortunately they could put us right away. The hostess was nice! Overall, the food was great, especially the fried green tomatoes and the shrimps and grits! I ordered the fried chicken. The sides were good, especially the greens, but the chicken was just okay? not seasoned. I gave it to my husband who had ordered the shrimps and grits (excellent and I wish I had ordered)! Absolutely amazing! So good food, and you can say that the cook often changes the menu. Had mushroom blue cheese ricotta ravioli, for dying. Even a simple salad with candied pecans was delicious. The service was also wonderful. I will recommend this place to anyone who visits the area, lives in Charleston, or just walk through it.

The restaurant is always great, but we really enjoy supplementing the cocktail lounge on the back with Donnie Page! The drinks are always on the point and the atmosphere is perfect for hanging out with friends. You have some light apps and small plates available, but Page works to get some crabs and a salad on the menu! Don't forget Happy Hour 4-6:00!

Such a good little local spot. Good portion sizes (the fried chicken comes with a ton of food) for the prices. The brussels and banana pudding are MUST tries. The house salad was decent. The quaint inside was super cozy the patio area outside looked nice. They do have private parking, but its a tight squeeze if busy. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because the waitress seemed stressed was also trying to help out in the kitchen, and the hostess was somewhat rude. We enjoyed the food and environment, and will be back.
