"This is a hidden gem and never disappoints; great for a date night! The decor is fun, inviting, and warm! The only drawback is, it can be hard to find a parking spot, but once you do land one, you are golden and believe me the food will be worth the effort. They also have live jazz music on most nights, so it can get a little loud in some areas for dining. They have a nice bar area, but don 't go looking for any happy hour specials. Great appetizers and portion sizes are more than adequate. If you like great Italian food, give it a try! They are only open for dinner and I would highly suggest reservations for weekend dining. Enjoy!"

We were forgotten on the patio and it took forever to get just a drink order in. I'd prefer not to be by the loud piano though. If they were actually playing jazz it might be more enjoyable but it's just popular songs played on the piano with someone singing. I might come back to try more food but only if I have all night to wait for everything

Great food and great music! We checked out Arrivederci for a much needed date night. We both love Italian food, and are big live jazz fans as well. Pretty good Italian menu with many pizza and pasta options...HUGE wine menu, which of course is to be expected at a place with wine in the name. The food was superb, and we sat right up near the live band. Will absolutely go again, hopefully on a more regular basis as the prices were very reasonable as well.

"I'm a little glut. I like to feel full and so when I wanted to get a Mexican dinner, I decided to stop here for the first time for lunch. a little hard to find tucktaway behind a cascade zigarre and tabak company, the festive trailer has some nice employees working there. I just finished my burrito and I am satisfied. I really like cheese and they didn't jump on my burrito on the cheese. it was meaty it was delicious it was fresh and I will certainly come back there."

"My husband and I really liked this store. Bright, pleasant atmosphere, large selection of products, normal prices. We couldn’t resist and ordered ourselves a Reuben sandwich and Salmon baget, coffee and sat down in the cozy cafeteria at the store. It was very tasty for us. The staff is polite. We are now regular customers"

"We are visiting Portland from Northern California for a few days and in our foodie driven research, had heard that A Cena Ristorante was worth checking out. October 31st happens to be my husband and I’s “dateaversary”—the date of our very first official date, now 7 years ago. We always try and do something special on this day, and A Cena felt like a good spot to celebrate one of our personal milestones. We started with an Antipasto appetizer, a tray of yummy pickled veggies and accoutrement, and probably hands down the best burrata we have ever had. Firm, rich and not mucous-textured or watery. My husband got the hangar steak, and I got half portions of two different pasta dishes since I couldn’t quite decide. Our waitress was very nice and cordial at the beginning of our visit, but both my husband and I sensed that by the end of our dining, she was a bit cold and what we described as “bored” of us. Our interactions with her had been nice, enthusiastic, thankful, appreciative—and we did not linger at the table longer than it took to eat…so I’m not quite sure why she seemed to be disinterested with us by the time we finished up desert, paid the check, and left. Other than that, I’m glad we now can say we’ve tried A Cena Ristorante, and can cross it off our culinary bucket list."

"takeout was sub par, but that was amazing. I wish we had a quick pass, as they told us 25 minutes and there were exactly 58 minutes. they have forgotten the sosse also on my meal! literal only reisnudel and huh. not sure what took so long. I think they had to catch and cook the chicken in my meal. the atmosphere in the inner seemed to be ok as we need to see that 4 tables eat, eat and then go. do not go back because it is overpriced. I spend $80 for 4 people."
