"Warm meal yes, unmistakable taste no. The Bar-B-Q Shack offers beef, pork, Hammel with side pieces potato salad, green beans, white beans and a selection of cakes. Food or drive through the service is available. The taste is similar to a backyard bar-b-que with a minimal skill to taste in the meat. It is cooked more or less well, but has no special taste. The piece size has been reduced in recent months. Service is friendly. If you visit, expect a good meal, but overall I would rate it as an average because there were no signature dish served on the menu and the portions of meat shrunk. Would eat it again."

Very good service. It is one of the few places that still accept controls. The pork BBQ mutton and baked beans were good, but nothing at home. I'd come back.

Up there. Born and raised in western Kentucky and enjoying what I now know is part of the best BarBQ in the nation, I think the BarBQ here is great! I have declared in North Carolina itself BarBQ Capitol the world wrong), as well as visiting BarBQ restaurants in Memphis, Kansas City and Texas that are said to keep west Kentucky BarBQ safe. In Hopkinsville, the BarBQ Shack is the best, with Knockum Hill and the Wood Shed also good choices. The BarBQ Shack has everything; Pig meat, chicken, beef and mutton all excellent prepared hickory smoked low and slow), along with fantastic BarBQ sauces.
