"It's hard to believe that this was my first visit to Backatown, but alas. It's pretty spacious with lots of tables and room to spread out, but still retains the intimate vibes that we all love coffee shops for. They have a really nice selection of pastries and other food items like sandwiches and salads. I enjoyed the crawfish quiche--the crust was flakey and buttery and there was a nice amount of crawfish baked inside. I love when coffee shops have good playlists and I was vibing with what they had playing. It was a mix of smooth R&B and soul. Staff wasn't too friendly. They had a lot of vegan pastries, but the donut I had was dense and dry. May have caught them on a bad day, but was hoping for better.

Neat coffee shop with chill atmosphere. Highly recommend the chai latte!The turkey panini was good, pretty standard sandwich. The rose pistachio donut was also tasteful ?

I tried the banana but coffee cake, chef's kiss! I also had the macchiato (hot), it was delicious. The staff were friendly and courteous as well. Would definitely recommend this business.
