"Meh..... Not too shabby for this kind of joint. Staff is friendly to a point, but mostly professional is as professional does, and they 're a reflection of that mentality. (Nothing wrong with it in my opinion) Most of their items are 'handmade ' or 'homemade ' and the flavor is there, but...something is lacking... I don 't know what it is... ambience? I couldn 't put my finger quite on it but something was off. Plan on spending some serious cash-money if you 're going to be drinking. Two of us, coffee 's all around, one dessert, main courses, apps and multiple beers for two cost 125.00 without tip."

Basilico has better food than most places I've traveled to in Italy! It's a warm and welcoming environment perfect for anniversaries.

The Taste of Italy here in Olympia. We had a great dinner here--came on a week night and were greeted with a smile and were treated to a delicious dinner. My wife and I used to live in Europe and frequented Italy often and the food here at Basilico's can hold its own with any of the restaurants over there. Such a treat to have great Italian so close to home. Fresh pasta, regional dishes, great wine and delicious deserts all with a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Awesome.

A most comforting culinary retreat for the palate and most gracious home away from home for the soul...<br/ I work in Olympia once weekly and choose Basilico for those occasions where I've had an extremely challenging day and desire to reward myself. From tantalizing handmade pasta made from scratch, to trusted wine pairings, to simple balanced salad apps, the staff and owners of Basilico know how to take care of you to feel right at home. <br/ <br/ My wife (GF menu) and I rank them among our top 10 list in the country.
