"The custard, unfortunately, tasted more like plain eggs on a crust. We thought they might have made a mistake and forgotten to add sugar because it was so bland. I took just one bite and decided to push my plate away. When our waitress returned, she didn’t ask about the issue; instead, she started clearing the plates. I then inquired if the custard was normally unsweetened, to which she interrupted me and said, "Yep! That’s how it’s supposed to taste." That interaction really changed our impression of the place.
Although we had initially intended to return, we ended up exploring other dining options instead. A pie, by its very nature, should be sweet. If it contains eggs and isn’t sweet, it’s essentially a quiche, not a pie, which highlights a significant difference between the two. If you decide to visit, I recommend steering clear of the pies. They may look appealing, but unfortunately, they taste quite unappetizing."
