The woman making the drinks a bigger set white woman wearing a bandana treated me so rudely and quite honestly I felt that I was treated differently because I’m Latina the other customers were treated nicely and were white. It’s so disheartening to live in a world where I’m treated differently because of my skin color and ethnicity. Hope Pete’s does better."

"This Urbane Cafe was a relaxed ordering experience. Placed my order, visited Trader Joe?s across the parking lot, and got my order all in less than 30 minutes. A great location for getting it all done, organizing dinner, and groceries in a short period of time. All Urbane locations seem to have a slightly different menus, but they are all good. Just ask questions, and find what is best for you!"

"I recently visited Mendocino Farms in Burbank after a late evening flight into the airport and was pleasantly surprised by the delightful experience. From the moment I stepped in, the warm and friendly staff made me feel welcome.My favorite dish of the night was the Avocado Quinoa Superfood Ensalada. The combination of fresh ingredients, the flavorful quinoa, and the amazing dressing was simply divine. I'd come back to Mendocino Farms just for this salad alone!As the evening progressed, I noticed the staff starting to clean up, but when I asked for to-go containers so I could tailgate and enjoy my meal elsewhere, they were extremely accommodating. Their willingness to go the extra mile truly made the experience memorable.The atmosphere at Mendocino Farms is perfect for a casual yet enjoyable dining experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal with friendly service. I know I will definitely be back on my next visit to the area!"

"I can't speak for the pastries as they don't have any vegan pastry at all but they smelled amazing. So we just got coffees. They up-charge for alternative milk AND for iced beverages! I realize that they are an authentic French bakery but they decided to move into a Los Angeles location where it's hot- people get ice in their drinks sometimes, and there are a lot of health conscious and lactose intolerant folks. The staff was nice. The place is teeny tiny. No inside seating and barely any outside seats and it's all crammed together. The lattes were good. Nothing special. I bet I would have enjoyed this place before I went plant-based/vegan."
