"We loved our girls ' day lunch at Black Ship Little Katana! The menu offers a variety of Asian dishes, along with a few basic American options, to ensure something for every taste. We enjoyed the Wagyu Hot Rock, Katana Appetizer Sampler, and a No Problem Roll. Specialty cocktails are refreshing and creative our choices were the Orangeblossom Mule and a lovely martini with lychee and blueberries (it has a cute name that I 've forgotten). The Ginger Vanilla Creme Brulee and Mango Cheesecake were the perfect last bites! A great find in downtown Dallas. The Wagyu Hot Rock was outstanding and I highly recommend the octopus salad.

We have been going to Little Katana on Cole for about 7 years and now that we live downtown, we are able to go to Black Ship at the Omni. It has been a staple for our relationship for special dinners and somewhere we know we can go and have any amazing meal! Means a lot, and we will see you soon!

"We came to Dallas for a game at the stadium. We love to travel and both are foodie. Alex did a phenomenal job taking care of us. Staff was super nice and attentive. "Abraham, I didn’t score you any less, but I wanted to alert you to an uncomfortable situation my first ever while dining at Salum. I was the first patron in the restaurant at and a very kind server recognized me and asked where I wanted to sit. I didn’t have a preference, so he suggested the middle table closest to the kitchen. I remarked that it used to be my favorite table when the kitchen was “open to the diners.” I had already been seated when another server yells from the front door, “he can’t sit there! It’s reserved!” There was nothing marking that table as reserved and the first server seemed a bit embarrassed. Second server yelled “he just called and reserved it!” I acted like it was no big deal, chose another table, but after eating, paying, and walking out, that table was still empty. I just thought that was beneath the quality service I have always received at Salum. Thanks for listening. Billy"

"My husband and I booked last minute and ended up sitting at the bar, but our service was still spectacular. Our waitress Alli was attentive, sweet and able to give amazing recommendations! Even the staff that only delivered our food/ drinks were personable and incredibly accommodating. Food is one thing but service is what keeps you coming back."
