"Do not let appearances fool you. Although it is nestled in the same complex as a cheap motel, this place is beyond amazing. We were only in Venice for 1 night but ate here twice because our experience was so great. We had 3 adults and 2 children who ate breakfast and lunch. Everything at our table was absolutely delicious with generous portions. It is obvious that the food is made with care and they don't cut corners. Blu? Island Bistro serves up a phenomenal breakfast and you are catered to exactly what you want! Great service and very bright and airy surroundings. There is lots of natural lighting through the windows in one of the back rooms. I created my own veggie omelette and I ate the whole thing! A very cute breakfast or lunch spot for a beach day!

Neat little breakfast/lunch cafe with a Florida vibe. Cool and interesting decor, for sure. I tried the Whiskey Bacon Eggs Benedict today. It was eggs-celent! ? Next time I want to try the Whiskey Bacon by itself. It was awesome. Staff was super friendly and attentive. Granted, it wasn't very crowded, but I always appreciate drink refills before I'm empty. If you haven't been here, be sure to check it out.

We have always enjoyed the restaurant and mostly because of our server Brooke. She is fantastic! We had quit coming for a while because it seemed the food was slipping but went in today for my birthday. Discovered it is under new ownership. They didn't charge the menu but definitely upgraded the ingredients. Everything was delicious and the staff is happy again. You definitely want to try this place out. I recommend the Whiskey Bacon and their french toast is always killer!!!
