"The quality of the Iron Horse food and menu have significantly declined over the past two years. This may be due in part to the fact that there are no longer any other options for sit down dining in the tiny community of Nevis. While the quality of the food and the amount of food served have decreased, the prices have continued to increase noticeably. The beer is warm and the drinks are expensive and weak. Beyond that, the staff is of an even lower quality, lacking in professionalism, integrity, and are not efficient in serving. My family used to frequent this establishment and our attempts at giving them business have been less every year. Unfortunately, this combination of poor service, disappointing food and high prices has our entire family at a point of, literally, no return. We have homes on the community lake and have numerous visitors and company throughout the year. We will not subject any of our guests to such an embarrassingly poor experience."

"Not sure if the guy who helped us was the owner, I should have asked, but he was super friendly. He really made a big first impression of the place, joking with my children, and hit a few decisions. We picked up half a dozen donuts and they were definitely not disappointed. It's a good and bad thing that we don't live nearby because I'd be here all the time to support the store... but then my doctor would probably hate me for it. These donuts should be illegal, how good they are! I'll be right back."

"Back in the day when Steve and Jill owned this place, the Pizza was some of the best we've had anywhere in the country and easily the best in the surrounding area. It rivaled the original Savoy Inn on 7th and Lafayette in St. Paul. Leona's kept the recipe, fully aware how important that was to customers. Unfortunately, CindyLou's decided to fix what wasn't broken. We go to Keith's in Bemidji now."

"This small restaurant was first rebuilt and is very attractive with a much improved ambience. All we ordered was delicious, but my reuben sandwich and onion rings were the greasiest I ever had. Every time I picked up, my fingers were literally shiny with fat. When I pressed an onion ring, he almost dripping fat. As a result of too much fat, the sandwich was quite healthy. My husband ordered the Meat Tau dinner that came with some beautiful asparagus spiders. The presentation of this duck was beautiful. Flavor was fine, but $20 for a meat lamb dinner?! Too expensive for me! We're not coming back."
