Bundok - Étlap

5 of us went to a later dinner and cocktails. I have to say I was a bit worried because 2 in our group have some evil cooking culinary and mixology skills. drinks were great and unique. we shared a court of sea roasts, pomme dauphine,...beef tartare, grilled broccoli, tagliatelle w/lamb, kale salat (we had to order a second,) and roasted hen. all were perfectly prepared. service was prompt (and it was pretty busy) and very friendly; not to serve and not keep. I'm back in a definitiw.

it is hard to know if the food or service would win as we were treated with bundok last week. the small plates were wonderfully created and presented as they were ready and all were creative, original taste experiences. we started with the Arctic...char there was enough for each of us (4 people) to have a weeping taste of this magnificently presented delicacies. somehow, each of the coriander, plant, fennel and black paprika were perfectly balanced. four spoons have been made available to taste the parmigiana suppe, a certain must if I ever have luck enough to be back. the swollen wild rice in the Kale salad did not make it their regular Kale salad, with all pre-divide this popular sweet. th...

bundok came high and the menu prices increased the expectations even further. my man and I enjoy high-end food experiences at home and away, so we have a fair idea of value for quality. the quality is mediocre [for higher eating,] the worth. is absent. we had the steaktar (a lot better sorts they find elsewhere in the city;) we found the sauce excessive and the taste of the flesh was buried. next was the pommes dauphine, the disappointing blanden, also with the rich sauce they were served. the top sirloin was the next and it was quite decent, but again it is better to find, especially at the price point bundok sits on the last 3 pieces meat were totally fat and unusable.
