"All I have to say is WOW! I ordered eggplant parmigiana which came with penne, a salad, and bread (takeout). It was delicious! It was a pretty decent size portion of food . The red sauce tastes incredibly homemade. Can’t wait to dig into the homemade tiramisu! "

Quality ingredients everything was very fresh. Menu prices and higher than on website. Very small inside reservations are recommended. Not so kid friendly.

We had a large party and tried many dishes. Everything we had was DELICIOUS. The scallops as well the stuffed pepper appetizer were the highlights. Service was attentive and friendly. Definitely plan on returning and recommending to others.

"Food was great! Restaurant was nice inside and atmosphere good. Our waitress wasn't so good. We had to ask for everything - napkins, cutlery, mammals, they forget crispy noodles together. Not friendly and never smiled. She really needs to be trained for the customer service field."

"we're here after a dance contest. we called ahead to let them know that there is a party of 14. it was said that there was no waiting time. we came there and were rude by the so-called manager and waited 40 minutes. they do not share the scars we had 5 different families with us. that was okay, but our waitress was great."

"have they forgotten my sweet and sour chicken sauce? so I had only small fried chickens. there was no stopping the chickens. it was like yellow colored rice with small tiny tiny chicken pieces and a few strands of spits. the chicken lo mine was as salty and tasted like a tonne fish sauce. the Homestyle bean curd was pretty good...just reason I gave it 3 stars. overall not back. it was disappointing for $40."

"We have been frequenting Alpenrose for many years. The service was outstanding and the outdoor setting was lovely. However, we were disappointed with the food. The pork schnitzel was extremely tough, requiring a lot of effort to cut with a knife. On the positive side, the gazpacho and mashed potatoes were very tasty. The rosti could have been crisper. Additionally, some of the serving dishes appeared to be quite worn. Perhaps it was just an off day for the restaurant?"

"My experience at this restaurant was disappointing. I found nine pieces of mouse on my crispy chicken combo, which was unacceptable. The fries were excessively salty, and the chicken tasted dry and burnt. Eating it felt like a chore, and it was quite unpleasant. On a positive note, the Pope was satisfactory."
