"Drove specifically to check this place out. This is a genuine hole in the wall, and it's extremely worth the visit. Entire place is super clean, bathrooms are sanitary well decorated. Decided to give the half chicken a try, paired with all three of the fried sides. Mac and cheese bites tasted like Sysco, they were rich and had plenty of flavor. The corn bites were exactly the same, although I enjoy homemade fried foods these hit the spot in a pinch! The half chicken was perfect! Slow cooked and plenty of flavor, not a dry bite on the plate. I purchased an extra just to check! The Brunswick stew was lacking just a tad for my taste but was hardy. The chicken mull was more of a Carolina versio...

We came here on a Tuesday while visiting Athens and its not crowded. We always look for small local restaurant . Service was quick and staff are friendly and attentive. Our food came freshly made and right temperature. We had rib basket and they were tasty. Price is reasonable.

we came here on Tuesday, when we visited and were not crowded. we are always looking for small local restaurant . service was fast and the staff is friendly and attentive. our food came fresh and proper temperature. we had ribbed basket and they were delicious. price is reasonable.

6/08/2022 Did my mother take a doctor? Athens today. I didn't have to ask. She wanted Butt Hutt. I have the rib plate and they have the rib basket. The difference between the two is the plate gets two sides. Mom says she's the best ribs she had. I guess she should know. She was the cook in her day. Ribs and brisket are lost. The ribs were good. The best I ever had? Who knows. I have the vinegar BBQ sauce. I can tell my mother? Vinegar BBQ knocks her hands down. I'm sorry, it's true. She's okay. Everything in everything, 5??
