"Looking for a small ice cream shop with homemade ice cream? Then the Calistoga creamery is the place to be! The shop is super small and is placed in front of the Lincoln Avenue brewery.Ice cream: I had the dark chocolate and the sea salt caramel flavors in a waffle cone. Both were delicious. The ice cream has a smooth texture but it isn’t completely creamy and silky. Overall it was good and I’d come back when I am in need of a sweet treat.Atmosphere: A very small shop with limited outdoor seating.Price: The ice cream is fairly priced with the bonus of it being organic and homemade.Parking: There is available street parking."

We liked it so much we went back 2x while in town over the weekend. I like how you can order a single scoop with 2 flavors in a cup and comes with a little of the gluten free cookie. The gluten free selfless cone is good made on the spot. My daughter and I really wanted to go and check out the ice cream because we've heard good reviews. We got there Wednesday night when yelp listed it as open, but it was actually closing an hour earlier and they would not service. So we decided to come back again. They were listed as being open 1230 Friday morning but that didn't work out either.We got there when it was open, but nobody was there. We were hollering for about 20 minutes before we went somewhere else. Bummer. If they're not open, that's one thing but if they're open and you can't find someone to serve you? That's something else.
