"The place was busy, to be expected on a Friday night. I say it was worth the wait. This place came recommended by Go Topless Fishing Charters, Capt. Matt, after a day spent catching Blacktip North Atlantic Sharpnose Sharks. We walked in with our catch and Chef Milton took care of the rest. Literally had no idea what was about to be served. Chef Milton made 5 different plates, some fried some pan seared. Each of them had their own unique flavor profile, texture, and presentation. This exceeded our expectations in every way. Chef Milton is a master at his craft, very impressive! Thank you for a great experience. Highly recommend!!"

So excited we got to visit on our vacation. My kids loved the atmosphere, decor and music. Patrick was our server and he was super busy, but extremely efficient and helpful when we had to leave early unexpectedly. The souvenirs were an incredible touch to our little evening. Food was outstanding.Food: 5/5

This was the best shrimp ? I've ever had. I got the whole pound and was full after 6 of them. They are huge! The steamed green beans were also delicious. My husband got the ribeye steak sandwich. Even though they were super busy we received great service from our waitress. Will definitely return while vacationing.Dietary restrictions: They have veggies for a alternative to the usual potatoes and corn.

I feel like I got ripped off. The reviews brought me and my hubby here ....was looking for a nice spot to enjoy anniversary, coming from Louisiana..well I was disappointed. $35 loaded boat so I expected it to be filled with yummy goodness but it was a little scoop of rice with overcooked Mahi Mahi and 3 shrimps on top. SMH. If It wasn't a to go order we were really tired and ready to relax) I would've sent it back to the kitchen. I'm so disappointed. Waste of money

"My first time trying mushrooms! The appetizer with stuffed mushrooms was amazing, definitely a highlight of my night. Overall the food was fantastic and ambience was warm and cozy a bit noisy, but nothing out of the ordinary for a place appreciated by locals, tourists, and families. Service was fine, not over the top amazing, but we got most everything we needed. The price was about average for the great quality of food and variety of drinks enjoyed. Planning to return!"

"We’re so glad we passed through Gulfport, MS only to discover this fun Shaggy’s experience! Great food great service! Every restaurant needs at least one server like Jack! I’m pretty sure he loves his job, and locals probably come back and ask for him! We were traveling home to Athens, GA after our 8+ day Texas trip when we decided the return home would be more fulfilling along the coast. We were right! Thanks, Shaggy’s!"

"We have eaten dinner here twice while on the coast and both times the food and service was excellent. We made reservations and have never had a wait. The location is beautiful, right across from the beach. Would highly recommend dining outside if it isn’t too hot. The menu has lots of fresh seafood options. We had the seared tuna appetizer and sautéed crab claws, both delicious. My husband got the special, which I think was stuffed redfish. I had the crabmeat Chimneys and it was great! We had 2 creme brûlée for dessert because it was so good we didn’t want to share. We will definitely be back again."

"The food was delicious, but I feel that the dishes are overpriced for what you get. Ordered a plate with shrimp and snow crabs and got only a very small group of crab legs, no claw and a handful of shrimps. The plates include 2 sides and I ordered the red potatoes, the 2 very small potatoes on the plate with shrimps and crab legs. Overall, I think it's a great place to eat and the oysters Rockefeller were the best ever."

"Beautiful atmosphere, excellent Italian restaurant. Bread was a thick French bread with green diving/spread. The bread was fresh and the sauce was delicious. We had fried Mozzarella triangles that were huge, they were worth the appetizer price. Also had a spinach diving with natural chips. The spinach dipping was very creamy, no bitterness at all. 3 Entrees were spaghetti and huge meatballs, grilled seafood plate, chicken alfredo. It was a ton of food for 80,000 dollars. The coffee was also nicely smooth. Generally, we had a very pleasant dinner. The blond waitress was super nice and attentive."
