"Absolutely wonderful spot for a bite to eat! I've stopped here a number of times in the past but I hadn't been back upstate in a few years so I was overjoyed to find that it was still open and still great. The shop is cute as can be and I've spent lots of time wandering and browsing and playing with the kids stuff. The restaurant serves delicious fresh food with a smile. The breakfast is DELISH! The staff are genuine, friendly, and down to earth people. And, lastly, the animals are simply gorgeous and lovely. Everyone should stop in if they can!"

"My husband and I really enjoyed our dinner at the Windham Diner! Food was delicious and portions were huge! The staff was really friendly and helpful! We had eaten at Tavern 23 the previous night. We liked our meals at the Windham Diner better. Menu is so much more extensive, the food was actually more flavorful and so much better value at the Windham Diner. Tavern 23 Salmon:$38; Windham Diner, under $25. It probably would be helpful if they posted their menu so people could see for themselves."

"It 's my first time here. We ordered a lot of dishes but the dishes that I like is Pork buns and Tomatoes soup. My friend convinced me to order Tomatoes soup but I don 't like tomatoes. She said : it 's delicious u must try I said : OK just try but I don 't like tomatoes After I tried the soup. I was very surprised cuz it 's very delicious If u come to Catskill Mt. Don 't forget to stop by Windham n try the food at Tap House Grille."

"Spent a few days in the area in between peaks too late for foliage and too early for ski season. One of the few restaurants open with consistent hours during the week. Local, low key spot with good food, service, and prices especially for the amount of food in the area. Didn’t need a reservation. Staff was friendly. Food came out hot, fresh, and tasted great. Split the fried chicken dinner $21) that came with two sides and cornbread, and a large dinner salad. All was good. An approachable place that you can bring the family. As good or better food and service than other comparable places in the area, and you’re saving $10 $15/plate. A win win. Don’t know if we’ll be back to the general area, but would recommend for anyone in our situation or for those visiting during peak times."
