"Carmen’s Lunch Bar is a perfect place to grab lunch! I have been here three times and each time has not disappointed. First and foremost, you need to try the soda bread! It is heavenly and perfect to share with a friend. The kale salad is also to die for with such a delicious dressing. They also offer a variety of soups which all taste incredibly good. As far as entrees go, the chicken tikka masala plate is good but it isn’t a showstopper. I have also tried the crab cazuela plate and found it to be quite salty/greasy but still tasty. Best soups in the city! Eclectic wine list. They have been open for 11 years, I have eaten almost the entire menu. I am embarrassed and a little saddened that it has taken me this long eat the open faced crab melt with chorizo! It is AMAZING. I'll atone for my sin by ordering it again the next time I'm there.
