The room was terrific and what we needed at the time. It’s nothing too fancy but it also doesn’t make you think criminals stay here haha! Our room had a comfortable king bed and usual hotel stuff. They have heaters on the base...

One night stay only- nit recommended for those with higher standards but it will do the job for avid travelers, one of the only places easy to book during night travel.

Really nice people, I had 2 Tacos al Carbon and shared Nachos with my wife. I ordered two more tacos. Even though it was the end of the night and they had big parties coming from families and Boy Scouts, they did a good job to take care of us, refilling drinks, water, chips and updating us on our order. Do not let the look fool you, it is good to eat when you go through.

I was staying at the Microtel up the street and didn't want to have to climb back into the car for dinner. The desk staff recommended Casa Lemus as a walkable option besides fast food. It was a quiet Monday night. Service was very good, attentive but not overly so. Got some water and an ice cold mug of Modelo Negra on tap! Chips were tasty, salsa wasn't my style but OK. Chose (from a normal menu) the Burrito Colorado. The food was good...was it the best Mexican/New Mexican food I've ever eaten? No, but it was flavorful, a decent sized portion, and hot when served. I cleaned my plate and walked back to the motel. Glad I gave a nice local place a try.
