"I reserved a booth with a specific waiter and was told that there were no specific instructions on my reservation. They did not read my notes on the reservation. We were seated at a front table because the open booth was reserved for someone at a later time. The Manager, Jeremy, was so arrogant, he did not even take any time to try to make any accommodations for their error, we were dismissed without even an I'm sorry. I will never go to this restaurant again. I will never rec commend. I don't appreciate being treated like a second rate citizen."

"Was traveling and wanted a good breakfast, although it was around noon when we arrived. I drove from Mountaineer, where we had spent the night headed south. I drove 20 mins around two different bridges to get here and I'd do it again! My mother and I are both great cooks, homestyle cooking. therefore, we know good food ! Not much to look at from the outside and not a lot of parking however, this place is a gem! We ordered 2 eggs over easy no runny whites they were cooked absolutely perfect, bacon which again was perfect, great flavor with the perfect amount of crispness along with some chewy parts, home fries again, perfect! We asked for sausage gravy on our home fries and they were out it was afternoon very understandable, we substituted brown gravy with absolutely no regrets, delicious! The toast was even something to rave about, crazy huh? a local bread, I failed to get the name, it was great! our bread at home is sliced a lil thinner. Thier's was a tad thicker, although not as thick as Texas toast that would be too thick was toasted perfectly with a crunch and chewy middle. What was the name of that local bread? Service was great, she was getting very busy and the other workers pitched in to refill coffee. loved the small town atmosphere. I suggest if you're ever in the area to stop by this lil gem! "The last time I had visited riverside roadhouse was 15 years ago. Overall they had top of the line food, service and atmosphere. Today however it seems they lost that enthusiasm. I visited today ordered appetizers such as the Shrimp, deep fried mushrooms and Hot Cheese Balls, all of their appetizers were great, very delicious. However, my low food rating comes from half of their menu being outdated/out of stock. We had the waiter come back several times asking what else we wanted. They were out of Ribs, Tater Tots, Fish Filet, Fish and Chips and out of Ribeye Steak. The steak was below average. And the tea was not very good wouldn't recommend as a starting drink. Atmosphere was very nice gave off rustic type of look. The bar was very nice 5 stars for the bar. And the bathrooms need some serious care."

"Pizza was cold for 1 thing .2nd th price was wrong so it said 6.99 each for 2 pizzas so it should have. Been 13.98 not 15.98 this company needs investigated like the ohio atty general did dollar general...."

"First of all, our waiter was truly a gem. Very accommodating, polite, personable. When the wine I was looking for was not available, I ordered a completely different drink. He advised me that it was made different than it is traditionally prepared, and offered for me to just try it. If I didn't like it I could get something else. The drink was delicious. The appetizer (stuffed peppers) were good. French onion soup was good. However the strip steaks had very little flavor, and the fries were mediocre. The cream brûlée was very good though! It was our first time dining here, and I would give it another try but just pick different entrees. I also want to complement the other staff we encountered, everyone was extremely kind."
