"I've been going to Castle Cafe for quite a few years have never been disappointed with anything. The building is historic thank goodness they've maintained its original character. I'm not a fish eater, so I can't comment there. But the buffalo meatloaf, chicken fried chicken chicken fried steak are as good as it gets in Colorado. The soups are homemade (like everything else) are on spot the cream of asparagus is the best I've had, ever. But the real reason to go here is for the pan fried chicken. I 've never left there hungry. Great food, great service, and if you don 't like something, respectfully bring it up with your server, explain, and they will more than likely take care of it for you. There are too many 'best things I 've had ' to list...but I will say the meatloaf is pretty darn good.

After a quick drive from Denver came upon a wonderful place to each lunch. Portions of food were really large so there was plenty to eat. Great food and the atmosphere inside was wonderful but the service was outstanding. Our server Dedra was really good and friendly especially with older people. If you go ask for her. The bill was just right and food outstanding enough to bring family again another day for dinner.

We were driving back from our vacation in Santa Fe and decided to stop for dinner on Saturday. The place opens at 4:30, and knew we would get there early and figured we would be first there. There were people already there and waiting to get in. That just tells you how good the place is. The people who serve you are great and so is the food. Many go for the fried chicken, which my wife loves. I like the chicken fried steak myself.
