"First time in Winnemucca and didn’t expect to find bangin Korean food out here. Loved that they had great vegan options for my partner! We got the tofu yakisoba and spicy pork bulgogi. Idk if it was because we drove through snow last night and 6 more hours here but it was one of the best Korean place I’ve eaten from. The restaurant has a parking lot, nice Korean aesthetics inside, and the young gentlemen were very kind. Vegetarian options: Vegan options as well!"

"Googled “oldest restaurant in Winnemucca”. Here I am. Food was exquisite. Service top notch. The history of the place is on the wall, in the form of a 40-year old handwriting letter. From the beaten path? Excellent service? Check. Excellent food? Check. Ambience indicative for its 122-year history? Check. Am I coming back? Be the only place I ate when I lived here. And it's gonna be through again."

"I'm sure I don't need my praise for this institution, but... Those who know this place... You know the jewel this place is. For those who have not experienced this facility, what are you waiting for? This facility offers 99% of all the great things that a meal can offer (up to one percent later). A simple note at the beginning... this institution seems very well connected to the community that serves it and seems to support activities that impact on the community (we have an opportunity to donate to a local charity . Well done! Environment and physical structure... Clean, cozy, welcoming, well maintained and ordered, and spacious, where necessary with good traffic flow. Staff... Amazing! Political, professional, while still relaxed, informed, and close enough to any concerns and needs you can have without the openness about engagement. The other noticed performance highlight is that the waiting staff in concert helps each other and address the customer needs regardless of who table it could be. Eating... OMG... Taste, quality and freshness of ingredients, and presentation are the top of the line!!! We had our articles from the breakfast menu. We were not disappointed... It wasn't even close! Chilaquiles and red velvet hash fresh, seasoned and simply delicious! Do not miss the opportunity to taste the freshly made jelly! The coffee was great at the point that we bought an extra pound to take with us. In short (or long do not miss an opportunity to experience this adventure! What the 1%... The sourdough toast and homemade jelly were amazing (strawberry and mango!!!! Please, please... do not serve me dry toast, butter my toast when it is served (or at least ask if we like it. We will definitely tell others and this great experience, and we will be back!! Thank you for your efforts!"

"The Good: The food came out quickly and was well cooked. Good quality food for diner fare. Service staff was friendly and attentive. Wait employees have caught their own mistake before we could mention (see: The Bad). Many local first-name regulars with waiting staff. The Bad: It took ten minutes between sitting and waiting personnel (understood by big party in their section). Initially, the wrong food was given (my girl-freedaughter ordered the Veg Omelet and received the Steak Omelet. Overall: I would say this place is clearly better than its rating here or on Yelp shows, definitely meets me as "local institution " if you are. Eating was just what one would expect from a diner-style breakfast joint. All in all, I would give it 4 out of 5."
