"Stopped in for breakfast on my way to Dallas. Found this place on Google. It was one of the best suggestions I ever got. The place was small and cozy, but the food was bold and delicious. I had a shrimp and alligator sausage omelet, and let me tell you it was scrumptious. Grits were creamy and delicious. Thw sausage gravy was wonderful. My sister had a brisket omelet that was out of this world, and the potatoes were pure perdection. PLEASE GO HERE.. you surely won't regret it."

"Nice environment. Not too brightly lit. Drink prices were affordable and strong. I had the 20z Ribeye medium. With potatoes au gratin on the side. Order came out at around the same length of time as other steak houses I've been to. The steak came out medium as I ordered. With a nice crust on the outside. Like a good steak house, no need for steak sauce. The juices from the steak was the only sauce needed. The bread came in handy to sop it up. Potatoes were warm and soft. Along with a nice crisp on the cheese. I'll be returning next time I'm in town."

"No greeting at door. Waited till someone came from office to the right, to seat us. People at bar seam to be having good time. 1 other Tabel had guest. After being seated Did hot get biscuits and butter. Till after 3or4othee guest were seated and got thers. Grouper a little over cooked but good. My wife's vinison. Was way over and tuff and dry. BUMMER. It was her birthday. I am a local barber of 35years and had high expectations. LETDOWN. But on a good note. Your biscuits were great. And the duck frys were also."

"This was our third time dining at Restaurant Cotton for my daughter's graduation from ULM. Definitely not the best experience. The first two visits were absolutely incredible; from the cocktails (the blueberry fence hopper), the wait staff and the food was excellent!. This night, we were a party of 11. The waiter was very polite, yet could not get our order correct. The food was wrong as was the drink order. We ordered a kids chicken dinner, and he brought out a hamburger (said they were out of chicken). Should have notified us prior to bringing out the burger, as the child was under 2 and the burger was not a good option, so was not eaten. The drink order was completely wrong, brought out three wrong drinks we politely accepted them and made the best of it. One venison schnitzel had one small piece of venison, while the other three orders had two nice pieces. There was only one option for desert out of everything. I guess I was so disappointed because our previous two visits ware perfect. Will certainly return, hopefully this was just an off night! PS. Chef Bahr was no where to be found that night."

"Food was delicious. We had the Devils On Horseback for an appetizer and it was great. I had the Louisiana Combo and everything was good, the crawfish etouffee was awesome. The **** Mary's were great and I thought the little Tabasco sauce bottle was a funny touch. My wife had the grown up grilled cheese and enjoyed it as well. The server was fantastic. Very personable, funny and quick to check on us. My only gripe was that it took forever to get our drinks. There were only 2 people at the bar, so I'm not sure why she was moving so slowly.Parking: Huge parking lot with tons of spots.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible and handicap parking is available"
