Went here for lunch on Thursday and I really enjoyed my meal. The service was good and water was constantly refilled. The food was tasty and came relatively quickly. The portions are a reasonable size. Definitely coming back. Five stars.

I know a lot of NYC restaurant snobs who say there are no good restaurants in that part of town it's just the UN and embassy row and all that but I really need to disagree. I had a lovely lunch with friends at this restaurant and it was quite good, as was the service. The prices were in line with other comparable restaurants both in that area in another sections of Manhattan so give it a try! The only downside was that the outside seating was quite extended into the road and the traffic was quite physically close albeit at very low speed... Copinette is a cozy restaurant with friendly and professional staff. We ate family style, so everyone can have a bit of everything. For the most part, we enjoyed our meals. Arturo and Marius were great. Apps: Bacon Mac N Cheese (a little underwhelming for us), Potato Leak Soup (everyone liked this, but many liked the French Mushroom Soup more), Calamari (tasted basic), Tuna Tatare, Grilled Octopus.
