"El Valle is a good eating place in a part of the world where good eating places are few and far between. Its taco salad and fajitas are solid. My daughter claims that its crepes are among the best she's ever had anywhere. The restaurant offers breakfast, sandwiches even pizza so the selection here is impressive certainly better than anywhere else in the area. The staff is nice. Because a combination of COVID-19 and redevelopment at Furnace Creek have left the food there really expensive and limited in both quality and selection, we found ourselves dining here each day of our visit to Death Valley. El Valle's building and location are a little bit bleak, and the drive from the park is a little bit long. But, my daughter and I found the trip well worthwhile, especially when you factor in that gasoline is available just down the road at Nevada prices, which, when I write this, are nearly $2.00 per gallon less than they are at Furnace Creek."
