"Stopped here for lunch with another couple. We decided to sit outside due to the setting and activity on the street. This was great except for the smoking that occurred around us during our meal. Unfortunately this is typical in Germany. My wife and I shared the sausages with fried onions. It came with mashed potatoes and sauerkraut. Everything was delicious and the 8 small sausages were plenty of food for the two of us. We left some of the mashed potatoes only because we were both full. It is the best German restaurant in Hessen from those, where I was. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is really cozy and the service is really welcoming. I can definitely recommend this place as a food stop in Marburg.

Ate dinner here outside in front of the restaurant. Lively, fun atmosphere among other restaurants and German shops. Our waitress was attentive, courteous, and spoke English. Food was very tasty. Good choice for an evening dining outside in fine weather.

We were here for a coffee and and a piece of cake. The location inside is on the first view very rustuc but when you climb the stairs it’s so lovely! There always plays relaxed music. Well, the coffee was a little expensive even though the cake was tasty. In my opinion it is better to visit it as a restaurant than as a cafe.
