"Me and my son discovered this place in 2014. On a road trip we took that lead us through four different states before we return home . Amazing trip! This is one of many places we found and it had fantastic food. One amazing friendly staff. It’s kinda off the beaten path, to my surprise this little restaurant is World Famous. Their famous Corn Fritters are to die for. But that’s not the only thing to die for around here. They serve up several mouthwatering dishes around here. These folks revolutionized the local seafood market by inventing a machine that cracks open the hard shell of rock shrimp making them a readily obtainable delicacy. Opening in 1983 with just 30 seats, they now have over...

"Village Inn-Titusville, FL- 4 stars “O-oh, back on the chain gang (ho-ah)...” – The Pretender Since you might be able to say from the opening offer, if not the name of the restaurant to be reviewed in this post, I am back in the chain restaurant mode. I know it's not for all of us, but enough of us to do it. This time my random local generator spewed from Village Inn in Titusville, FL. Do you have companies in 18 states (including Alaska) with a majority of them in Colorado, I guess stones like their food? Well, with so many restaurants in many states they have to do something right. I'm moving into the sparingly filled parking lot, I have to admit some doubts crashed, but I pushed it aside and entered it. The place was clean, friendly and enthusiastic a local welcome. When I took my place, Rebecca, the waitress took my drink order. Now this is a quick service! She then went cheerful and professional to answer all my questions and then took my order from an Ultimate Skillet, a short stack of pancakes and a reub with a side of steamed broccoli. The Ultimate Skillet contained frozen, non-fresh hash brown, ham and vegetables. For a chain restaurant, however, I am impressed by the execution, as it was perfectly boiled eggs. The flap jackets were a more crisp, but so buttery and milky on the palate. What can I say about The Reuben? It looked great, but it wasn't so good. I think it could be an ingredient problem because it certainly wasn't a problem of execution. Maybe it was the end of the meat or maybe not as high as I used to, regardless of it, it wasn't tasty. The side of Broccoli was fresh, crisp and pleasantly prepared. The Big Boy says, For a flawless meal in a family-friendly environment and budget, this Village Inn will do you just good! #bigboy #bigboydiningout #iamthebigboy"
