"The rooms were beautiful, but nothing imagination.. Some of us called ahead to check in the time we had to change for a wedding. Then when we arrived many of us in our big group, we had to wait up to 2 hours (5:00) to check. The rooms had no coffee pots or ice cups or even cups for a drink of water. In the morning there was a coffee pot in the middle without cups a sm pitcher warm milk that looked like it was there all night. For the price of the rooms I feel it should have been something extras. Also some guests were NOT given their gift bags from the bridal room at check-in. Disappointed!"

We stayed at Doherty Hotel Tavern for appetizers and a cocktail. The atmosphere was beautiful and the portions were great! We had the fried pickles that were the best I had everywhere. The Calamari was perfectly prepared. I highly recommend it!

My favorite place to gather with the family. You have great food and the best bar! We had a great party for my parents 70. Birthday and they made it so easy to plan. They took the lead on the food and delivered a great menu that made everyone happy. Thanks again for being such a special event.

My experience was with her Irish pub where I had a business lunch. The service was exceptional and the location in downtown Claire Michigan is perfect as the center between Leelanau Township and Wayne Township. We shared an appetizer (rich onion rings) and I enjoyed their fish taco (okay, not so Irish), but was tasty.
