".... 27.10.2012 ..... A beautiful location in direct proximity to the Moselle. Nice ambience, not exceptional but appealing. Operation very friendly and fast. The portions are quite large. Here you can settle well and enjoy the view of the Moselle. 28.10.2012... Today we were once again here... have drunk a beer that was well cooled and eaten a carving with mushrooms and pommes ... was actually delicious .... Service nice and also quite fast .... the food came fast, but not too fast on the table, even though unfortunately there is no real carving you always hear that someone knocks meat in the kitchen? ...maybe the steak...maybe already be ...but the scavenger, was just the moulded meat offered almost everywhere ....too bad ....it would also have been too nice for over 10.00 euros ........13.04.2013... once again coughed in to warm up something and order a delicious cappuccino... here we are happy, because this is a nice restaurant ...."

"the crowning conclusion of a beautiful moselsteig hike! we had reserved in time and for us all (8 people) we had already ordered the early summer menu reduced to 3 channels and - everything was perfect! a tasteful greeting from the kitchen, then the balanced curry ginger foam. as the main course the really excellent lamb back in a brothlike had the nose at the front of the edelfischspieß. very tasty also the homemade. the accompanying weeping of the big wine card were perfectly matched to the food selection. Overall, everything was really right - extremely friendly and competent, but at the same time also pleasantly intrusive, we are happy to come back!"

"Our December visit to Bernkastel was cold, but so it should be in winter. The Christmas market is clear and nice. A little warming could not hurt. So go straight to the well maintained Café Thiesen with well-stocked cake counter in the late afternoon. Café is understatement. The tables nicely covered with strengthened table cloths, the division of tables harmoniously. A large guest room is divided into nice plots, so there was also a certain privacy. Parking “before the door” can be forgotten here, but in the vicinity there is certainly always a place for the vehicle. Probably the boss greeted us nicely and gave us a Christmasly decorated 2 table. Something sweet could be, dinner was at the hotel later. The warm evening dishes served at the side tables looked very good. My husband ordered a cup of coffee to € 2.10 and I a glass, 0.2 l, fine Riesling (almost in short vacation) to € 3.50. The apple sauce with vanilla ice cream and cream at € 3.70 was served shortly later and tasted great. The strudel is delivered by the local confectionery, as and the boss reported. The finesse: At the bottom a grape vinegar that does not pass through and on top gold-yellow crispy foliage. I have never eaten this before, is also not original, but a great and tasty idea. In between a fine juicy apple filling. Applestrudel with vanilla ice cream Served on black 80s cellar with decorative powder sugar pollination. "Great place that can easily be missed if you are just driving through. Attached to the car museum, The Biergarten and restaurant has delicious burgers and schnitzel. There are vegan or vegetarian options as well. The drinks were served to us by drink train because we sat near the glass lookout. It was a fun surprise! Plenty of parking is available and they have different car shows at various times. Clean bathrooms. Definitely worth the stop and interesting atmosphere!"

"Fantastisk mad, rigeligt og veltillavet. Rigtig god betjening. Vi valgte en ret bestående af forskellige tandorri tilberedte retter af kylling og lam. Ris og nan indkluderet i prisen. Den eneste grund til, at vi ikke giver 5 stjerner, er at menukortene er slidte. Kan varmt anbefale stedet."
