"We rolled into Double Barrel BBQ on a Monday around 5pm and it was pleasantly crowded, a good sign. Standouts on our plates included ribs, roasted veggies, fried okra (the sauce is addictive), both types of cornbread, and sweet pea succotash. The ribs were truly exceptional, served dry with their caramelized exterior since you could sauce your own from the triple sauce bar that also has pickles/picked stuff in like 6 varieties. We also had brisket and pulled pork, which were good but the ribs were in a different class. Meaty, firm but tender... just perfect. We wish we lived closer so we could come back more often! I would like to recommend something, but EVERYTHING is 5. So good! Family-owned restaurants with pride in everything they do. We will return every time we are in the area and will likely drive up from the Seattle area just for the food and the experience.

The food here is plentiful but we found all the meats were way too salty for our tastes. Everything tasted nice and smokey but it was overwhelming. The beef briscit was the least salty. Ribs were kind of dry. Chicken was moist but too salty. I had the mashed potatoes as a side and they were smothered in this white gravy that was not appealing. Roasted vegetables were overcooked and dry as well. Baked beans and Mac and Cheese were good.

It was tasty. No guidance on what to expect when you walk in. We were greeted with a warm hello, but there was a line and they take orders at the register, we deduced.It is all pretty self serve, but they do bring the trays and glasses to your table. You get your own condments and sauce.Two in our party never got their beers and had to ask.Fries were ok, I am picky about fries.Roll of papertowels on the table was a nice touch, good idea.Overall, fine experience, but not exceptional and kind of out of the way.
