I was visiting this town with a friend, and we decided to stop here for dinner before we went to the haunted Correctional Facility. All I can say is WOW! Everything we tried was incredible! I love how they serve soft drinks in a large mason jar. The pulled pork nachos were fabulous, I do wish the chips were more crunchy. The ribs were phenomenal, along with perfectly fried French fries and baked mac and cheese. The corn bread was perfect as well.

I came here with my mom a few weeks ago and we absolutely loved it! We placed a Phone order for pick up and they were able to complete it in a very short amount of time and we’re very accommodating since they were closing very soon. The atmosphere is amazing, fun, and friendly. The food was so fresh and incredibly high-quality. I wish I could come here every week! The only negative aspect of my experience taking out was that they gave us the wrong size… We ordered mac cheese however, we did not receive it, but instead received coleslaw. Besides this, I had a great time with my mom ordering the food, waiting for the food and talking to the incredibly friendly staff, and sharing a delicious me...

I have always loved going to Double S Stakehouse in Warwick. It was a go to for us. I gave them a 5 star rating before, but had to remove it. But this last visit was unbelievable! It took almost an hour and a half, in total for seating then being served the food. When we got the steak half of it was like a hockey puck the other half was completely raw. We ordered a medium. The waitress was sweet kind she should be commended for her efforts. Hopefully this was a one time occurrence. At first they said only 10% off, the waitress was able to remove the steak from the bill completely after she brought it back to them. This is the only reason they got 2 stars instead of 1. "I've always believed that atmosphere sells an establishment. The atmosphere here is awesome, a comfortable tavern like feel with very cool decor. Biggest contributor to the atmosphere is the wait staff, they were great, attentive without being over-bearing. Just a calm casual place to enjoy a drink and relax!"

"We have been coming here for 28 years. I brought my kids here I brought my grandkids here and my mother-in-law and father-in-law live down the street quarter mile. The last few trips to Rhode Island we were unable to get to Iggy's so it's been a couple of years. We ordered the fish and chips, we ordered red chowder, white chowder and of course clam cake. To say our hearts broke is an understatement. The clam cakes used to be full of clams and had odd shapes because they were hand dropped.. these look definitely balled up like meatballs; like they were shaped.. if not frozen and then reheated. Hardly any clams in the clam cake. My husband was excited when he found one clam chunk; sarcastically excited. I remember boasting about how you could stick a spoon straight up in the chowder..not this one it was runny and watery and disgusting. It didn't even taste like clams it tasted like potato soup..barely. The red chowder wasn't even red it was like a mix between clear and red but someone decided to throw in three little canned tomato pieces. The baked scallops were soggy and disgusting and the french fries, even though I know they come frozen, we're nothing to boast about either. The fish n chips disappointed. It used to be a fish that barely fit in the container and now it's a fish that could fit in one side portion of the container. The baked scrod was not bad but it just looked ick. Iggy's threw a small piece of fish in with some squishy side vegetables and some rice pilaf that look like it came out of a bag premade. All of the lemons they gave us were disgusting and smelled like soap and were oily; so we had to throw them out. The only pictures I could take was right before my husband dumped it all down the sink. We had guests for lunch who had never had Iggy's and we must have boasted and boasted about it for hours before it arrived. We spent well over $240 on this order and I feel like we got ripped off big time by Iggy's. We will not come back anymore. I can understand the price hikes and I can understand the economy but I cannot understand changing recipes that made this place famous. I now feel 100% confident that my white chowder is better than theirs any day of the week. And that is something that I would never have said over the two plus decades we have been coming here. Is so sad when a childhood memory turns into an adult nightmare. Do better Iggy's... Just do better. Economy be damned don't screw with the chowder and the clam cakes. After all that's what made you famous and that was the original menu. -Sad and disappointed, Local Oakland Beacher. They're so-called red chowder is picture here and my mother-in-law sink. I should have just set my money on fire."

"Visited a new restaurant with a modern window system that seemed to be the new trend. It was very quiet during the times I visited, possibly because the people of Warwick are not big fans of fast food. However, the restaurant seems popular with visitors to Warwick. There is plenty of parking space available, and it is conveniently located next to a large Tesco."

"We sat in the very rear to the left of the fireplace. Our seats were very hard and cold. We are guests in our eighties and really need more comfortable seats. Is the any way when making a reservation to avoid this spot ?? We have been to the Shanty many times and never were otherwise disappointed."
