"Whenever Mai and her husband ran this restaurant, the food was delicious and authentic. The new management doesn’t follow the same process, I guess, because the food is horribly tasteless. I am unsure if it’s a certain cook tonight, or if they just want the dollar bills and not earn it. No flavor. The stir fried cashew chicken tastes like oil and a green pepper and the chicken fried rice tastes like a burnt grill and no flavor like usual. Do better, China Town. "My husband and I just went to this restaurant because we were at the resort and it had good reviews. However, we had no very good experience. First, the service was terrible. Our waiter hardly ever came to check us, he was clearly prioritizing his other table that wanted to give him a bigger tip because there were more guests and they ordered wine and so. We also realized that he never gave us bread and butter the whole meal. We only realized that after another waitress bread and butter were brought to one of their tables immediately after setting. Second, the food was overpriced and slandered. I had her trophieenburger and it didn't taste at all. My husband ordered the French dip and had to salt the Au Jus himself because it was absolutely tasteless. The only good at my meal was the garlic aioli, but I ran out and the waiter never came back to check us out so I could get more. We left over $50 for two tasteless meals, no bread and butter, terrible service, and were completely dissatisfied."

"The restaurant is now under new ownership since May 2021 and is called Ixtapa. We enjoyed it before, but we absolutely love it now. I ordered the chicken fajita nachos and my husband tried two different types of tacos, both were delicious. We visit the lake 4 or 5 times a year and Ixtapa will definitely be one of our favorite spots from now on!"

"We celebrated a quiet birthday as two old friends and enjoyed the quiet ambiance and lovely view from the dining room. Our server, Christina, did a fantastic job of taking care of us, without being obtrusive, while being warm and friendly. It's a special skill. The food was awesome and perfectly prepared."
