Today my Scout Ed and I tried the buffet at the El Cerrito Mexican Restaurant on Cobbs Ford Road in Millbrook. It is easy to reach with many parking spaces and seating. El Cerrito has an extensive lunch menu, but on Friday to Monday they offer a buffet. We were there to try the $8.95 buffet (only food, drinks and tax extra). Lunch there last Sunday. The offer offers a buffet only on weekends. The buffet food is the best Mexican food I've ever eaten. You can also order in the menu.

This is fabulous food. The Chili Rellenos are the best I have ever eaten, both beef and shrimp versions. We have often eaten here and tried many different things. Everything was wonderful! You can't go wrong. Also the weekend buffet is amazing, and quite a lot.

My wife and I had only one meal in El Cerrito; it was excellent! We are tourists from So Cal, so we regularly eat authentic Mexican dishes. We had Chile Colorado and Chile Relleno. We also had a margarita. The drinks were excellent, given the alcohol laws of Alabama. El Cerrito would be successful everywhere; it is excellent, authentic Mexican cuisine.
