I would give El Gaucho five stars if it wasn't for the very rude service. I'm an American expat from San Francisco Bay Area and I currently live in Graz, Austria. I have been to Argentina and my best friend is Argentinian so I have high expectations from an Argentinian restaurant that makes you pay an arm and a leg for their food. First of all, service was TERRIBLE. We had a reservation yet we still had to wait 15+ minutes for our table. The waiters and especially the waitress were very rude, uninterested and indifferent.
