"We almost didn’t go to this restaurant based on several recent reviews. However we decided to roll the dice and give it a try. We hit the jackpot! One of the best meals we have had in a long time. The mussels were flavorful and the sausage and sauce enhanced their taste. The halibut was cooked perfectly and the grilled asparagus was a perfect side dish. And the fried oysters were the best we have had in our swing through the southeast where we have have sampled many. Did we mention the Old Fashioned’s some of the best ever. We live in Las Vegas and have eaten in many fancy restaurants there. Itta Bena is as good as Vegas’ finest at a fraction of the price. Service, food, setting are all excellent."
