"We tried to order to-go over the phone but their phone line did not work. I kept getting a message that the voicemail had not been set up yet. We drove there and found a small restaurant in a strip mall shopping center tucked away between several other restaurants. The restaurant appears to be clean, modern and casual. There were plenty of tables and seating. The menu on the wall had all the prices scratched our so there is no telling what the prices are. Our order for 3 with one summer roll, one soup, and two dinners was $60. It took about 20-25 minutes for the food. They brought it out to the car where we were waiting which I felt went above and beyond. Thank you for that. I had the long rice soup. The broth was great but the chicken pieces had no flavor. I added a bit of soy sauce and it was better. We also had the pad Thai, and mango sticky rice which were all good. It was good."

"Warm, friendly and welcoming staff. We were seated and served quickly, including drinks — and at the same time we were asked if we wanted chopsticks, which was a tad strange as we hadn’t even seen the menu yet………… That aside, our server was super awesome in helping us better understand some of the unfamiliar menu items and recommending certain dishes to us. I changed my mind a couple of times on what I wanted, but the chef (yes, not just the server! was so helpful and gracious in supporting me with some allergies and dietary restrictions. In the end I went for the chicken and it was THE BEST chicken I had during my 2 weeks in Oahu: super tender, hot and DELICIOUS. And my husband’s Moani fried rice was massive!!!!!! He also said, “The smoked meat is amazing!”. This place is definitely local and it was great to have proper Hawaiian food after we’d been eating typical “American” food for the first few days of our trip. Sadly, we missed seeing the live music that started at 6pm. This place does lose one star from me because we ordered two drinks during the happy hour, but because they didn’t actually bring the second one to our table until AFTER the happy hour finished, they charged us full price for it."

"Friendly, fast, and convenient. I've always been a fan of their extra crispy fried chicken and there new fries are actually really good. I wouldn't call it a healthy meal but every now and again it's ok to indulge in some deep fried goodness!!"

"This place can be really busy, but the staff here really works hard to get things out super fast. The waiting times are always reasonable, but if you order to go, I recommend placing your order online or by submitting. Whether you eat or order a family meal, the food is consistently good, and the service is always beyond and beyond. This is one of our go-to-spots for lazy nights...our favorite is the chicken bucket family food deal that comes with a huge tub of white rice and Mac salad. More than enough to feed the family and put smiles on faces."
