"Went here for breakfast on our first day in Blackhawk and the coffee tasted funny. Wasn’t very good. But the chicken fried stake is very good and the potatoes also. Only took about 15-20 minutes to get food for 5 people. But when it was time to pay it took longer to get out checks separated than to get our food because the guy brought our ticket out all together when we told him at the beginning we were separate tickets. Then we had 25$ off and gave him our Caesar’s rewards card for the 25$ off and he took it to 100% off only at the cost of ALL of our rewards points."

This resturant is no longer a buffet there is long wait times and as we tried to go there yesterday the host or wait staff lady was very rude didn't say hello just approached us angry and blurted out there is a waitlist. Very few customers were in this resturant so I'm not sure if they are just understaffed or I felt they just didn't want to with there and put there effort into more than a few tables Service: 1

Weekends are extremely busy, and waiting can be long, especially if you are hungry, but they do their best to maintain demand and picky and chaotic diners (which are usually already frustrated because they have lost in the casino). The food selection is average and of decent quality. Staff and chefs are always beautiful. Come a week at night if it's not so busy – I did and had so many fresh crab legs and so much Prime Rib for me! It's worth the price.

"our reservation was at 8:00, we arrived only after nine. that was good that we were sitting and they were so busy and seemed to support themselves. we ordered a suppe and an salate and a seafood tablet. about 10 o'clock we have the seafood tablet and never get our suppe and salat. the server said the kitchen was well secured. "Great steaks and good food. The food was a solid 4 stars. High quality steaks with a wide selection of sauces and good side parts. Very high final atmosphere typical of a beautiful steakhouse. Full service bar with handmade cocktails. Very large selection of wines. Expect to spend about $60/pp with a drink. It wasn't the best steak I had, but certainly worth a good meal."

"So the wife was across the street shopping and was eventually coming across to gamble so I sat and had a Jameson and then eventually I had to try one of their dark amber ales. The place is old which is part of its charm. You have to go downstairs to cash out but you can walk around the building from the street [not that far] but a useful note if you cannot do stairs. The gal that was serving at the bar upstairs was super friendly and she really adds to the whole nostalgic feel of the place. AND I GOT 4 OF A KIND! Wooo hooo."
