"We sold our property known as Singing Tree Acres next to the gas station which is now called the Woodland Reserve by Tripoint Homes. When we sold I was led (more like mislead) to believe that the City of Kirkland was going to preserve all of the beautiful trees on the four acres especially the cedar trees bordering the front of the property. The trees were beautiful. Anyway. We return to the area to see how our family property has changed then we order our food (takeout) at Plaza Garcia. I used to order our takeout at the register and wait for my order but I have been ordering takeout online via their website at [hidden link] which is more efficient as the pick up time is as soon as possible. As soon as you submit your order online the system shows you on the top how many minutes the order will be ready. Last time I ordered my takeout order was ready in 14 minutes. My partner ordered the three enchilada combination and I ordered the two enchiladas and one taco or bean tostada combination the last time we went. For mine I ate half of it and finished the other half the next day. The portion is huge. The quality is good. Very flavorful and fresh. Due to inflation, their prices have increased which they do not have any control over. The customer service person at the register was nice. I highly recommend."

"We love Bottle Bull. One of our favorite restaurants in Kirkland. Just a bit disappointed this time with our Crab Wild Prawn Risotto. The menu description indicates it has Carnaroli Rice and Parmesan Cream. There was no mention of the Risotto being spicy, and most risottos are not. The person who ordered the Risotto is sensitive to spice. Only after mentioning this to our server (who was wonderful) did she check with the kitchen and confirm that the Risotto contained chiles."

"We enjoyed our Sunday lunch/brunch at Beach Cafe. It was quiet and peaceful. Our waiter was very sweet and attentive to our needs. We would come back for dinner one day to catch the golden hour"

"Their menu is good, but has remained essentially unchanged for over a decade. Fortunately they offer a couple of seasonal specials, such as the scallop and clam special with saffron cream sauce, broccolini, and fingerling potatoes. Scallops were cooked well, sauce was very. tasty if a bit overseasoned but . not too salty to enjoy. The Manilla clams were.. . good, but not exceptional. Noise level in the restaurant was better than usual because we were at the table in the southeast corner, and dining room was not completely full. Service was competent. Have dined there many times pre pandemic and will continue in the future."

"Our first time trying this chain new to our state, and my husband and I were blown away. A Monday early afternoon was well staffed, self-order kiosks that are updated to reflect supply, very clean (including bathrooms) and has a chill modern atmosphere. Vegetarian options and dairy-free shakes as well. We ordered the Shack Stack, ShackBurger with bacon and onions, Hot Chicken sandwich, spicy fries and Oreo funnel cake shake. The Shack Stack was excellent, but don’t expect it to be like a mushroom Swiss. It’s very unique, and the portobello was fried beautifully with a lovely cheese pull. It’s a very good non-traditional burger. The ShackBurger was delicious with beautiful caramelization on the beef which was cooked to a perfect medium. I usually forget to take photos before digging in, but this burger was too pristine to rush into. It’s the burger on the billboard ads, but nobody sat on this one. All the food was like this, but this is the only picture I took. The Hot Chicken sandwich was another level of chicken sandwich. Crispy, juicy, well seasoned fried chicken breast with flavorful toppings had us almost fighting over it although we ordered it to share. The spicy fries were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside with truly spicy seasoning. The fries with more seasoning are nicely tamed with ranch and ketchup complemented the less spiced ones. Finally, the shake was not your average fast food shake. Tasted like real chocolate ice cream, not chocolate syrup, and was very creamy and delicious and somehow didn’t feel as heavy as most shakes I’ve had. We will definitely return to try more menu items and especially to try the dragonfruit lemonade they were out of. The ultimate test of fast food is always its consistency, so I truly hope I won’t need to edit this review."
