"The restaurant was very good as always. However, the hostess initially seated us at an undesirable table right by the entrance to the kitchen. We requested to be moved and were accommodated. We observed another couple being seated at the same table (after a different couple had declined), which should not be used for seating."

"First visit to the Old Causeway last night. Arrived around 5:30pm and it was PACKED. The sign out front announced Happy Hour every day from 4-6 pm, so the crowd was understandable. Asked for a table for 4 and was told it would be around an hour and fifteen minute wait. Less than half that time later, we were seated, so I can't complain! Our server, Dawn, was super sweet and attentive. The food was top notch and the cocktail I ordered, Cherry Drop Martini, was luscious. Recommendations: BBQ Rib app, Andouille Sausage Grinder, and the Tri Tip Sandwich. Great all around spot. Can't wait to go back!"

"All the food was awesome! We started with the garlic rolls and marinara sauce- wow, they were great! Then we had the veal parm, which was one of the best I have had, perfect thickness of veal to breading, wonderfully seasoned topped with a good amount of fresh cheese and a huge portion, half of it went home with us. The chicken parm was equally as good. We also got the Bolognese which was awesome and rivaled what we have gotten in Italy, again with a portion that allowed for lunch the next day. Staff was friendly and attentive. Food came out in a timely manner."

"First of all, they purposefully expanded their kitchen so that all vegan menu options is cooked on completely separate ovens and burners away so as to not cross contaminate with their other non vegan options. The service was kind and friendly with a very community welcoming vibe. We had vegan soup and quesadillas for starters (not pictured) we were so hungry forgot a picture! We also had the Buddha Bowl and Chickpea Burger. 10/10 FIVE STARS. Especially for the vegan cheese. Want to come back in the morning for their vegan breakfast item options! Tip: when you’re within 10miles of the restaurant use their Yelp waitlist to get a spot in line to be seated in advance. Was super helpful to get seated within no more of waiting 5 min upon arrival once you check in with the hostess. Definitely a spot to go to when visiting LBI."

"6/2022: The service at the counter was very pleasant and helpful. Keep up the good work. Ordered the soft shell crab sandwich to go for $23. The crab itself was simply okay and the fries were crispy and chunky. The bread buns for the sandwich was not good. I would not order this again, thus the three stars. The food coming out of the kitchen looked very mediocre. Enjoy what you can."
