"Food was very good and reasonably priced. There is not an abundance of seating, so we had to wait for some time to seat our party of eight. Our waitress was very friendly and did a nice job. I really enjoyed sitting outside, listening to the cicada, although not everyone in our party was happy with the fan blowing on the table. I thought it felt great on a balmy evening. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

However, a customer in the line had to wait to order because the girls were distracted by some guy further back in the line resembling someone they knew. One had to pull up a photo to show the others and all go and show the guy and OMG over the coincidence before they could get back to the people ahead of him. "I recently dined at the Sugar Shack and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience that I do not wish to repeat. The only positive aspect of our meal was our waiter, who provided excellent service. However, our evening began on a sour note with the door greeter and hostess, who were incredibly rude. The food was both overpriced and lacking in flavor, leading to a major letdown. Overall, the unfriendly behavior of the two women at the start of our meal set a negative tone for the rest of the night."

"I discovered this place about 5 years ago and made it a point since then to stop here at least once a year on my annual beach trip. The food is so good when someone told me you're infected with COVID when you ate here and it costs the food $5,000, I'd still go. That's good, the food, the atmosphere, the best bread in the world. If you choose another restaurant above this, you will regret it."

"Super refreshing. This was our best meal of the week yet. From Katelynn, the hostess, (prob spelling incorrectly) to Cheryl, our server, we felt valued and welcomed. Started with the best wings we’ve had in a long time and finished with the fried shrimp and patty melt. The shrimp was huge and lightly breaded. The sandwich was fresh with extra mushrooms and onions. We sat outside and experienced a fantastic view. All in all, a 10/10. Service: Dine in"
