"Not many places in the area for breakfast other than Waffle House, so we figured we would try something new. We ordered up front and paid then sat ourselves and had the number they gave us displayed at our table. The food came out pretty fast. I got the chicken fried steak with eggs, a biscuit and I had the option to choose grits or potatoes. I got the potatoes and they tasted old, oily and dried out. Everything else was good. Next time I'll get the grits. The biscuit came with what seemed to be a homemade strawberry jam. It was liquidy but i liked it! I ordered a vanilla latte and it was sweet but yummy. Good counter-serve choice for breakfast and lunch... order at the counter, they'll bring it to your table. Great bacon sandwich, biscuits and gravy are super good, and cheese grits are just right.

I was looking for the local spot diner, not Waffle House. You'll know what I mean on your way there. Perfect Cajun breakfast, Hangover 1 was delicious ? great coffee too! What a find, I'll be back.

Overall:2+ I found this place on Yelp and went checked it out. Generally speaking it is pretty good. Relaxing atmosphere, clean, attentive staff and prices are a bit high for what you get. I had a breakfast platter and there was nothing to great about it. I am pretty sure they just order their food such as potatoes and the beignets frozen as opposed to making anything from scratch. The coffee bar was OK but keeping with the same theme; nothing special. I personally will probably not come back but with that said, the place isn't that bad.
