"My friend and I often visit this restaurant. It's a lovely spot to relax, enjoy the fire pits on the terrace, and listen to great music. The food is simple yet delicious. The staff is friendly and always willing to help. It's a charming little place. My only complaint is the limited hours. This time, I brought a friend who is new to the area."

I was very disappointed. I traveled all the way there only to find that they were closed, and there wasn't even a sign on the door to indicate that they were shut on Halloween night.

IT WAS OK. SERVICE WAS MEH, UNDERSTAFFING COULD HAVE BEEN A PROBLEM AT 3 P.M. ON SUNDAY. ENDED UP LEAVING EARLY TO GO TO BALLAST POINT DOWN THE SAME COMPLEX. MIMOSA SAMPLER WAS THE HAPPY HOUR DRINK SPECIAL. THAT WAS THE BEST THING ABOUT THE MEAL.

My boyfriend and I come here often. It's a cute place to chill and relax and enjoy the fire pits on the patio and some good music. The food is simple but tasty. Everyone who works there is friendly and helpful. A very cool little wine bar. My only complaint is the limited hours. This time I shared it with a friend who is new to the area.

"Absolutely amazing! My husband and I had the best time celebrating our anniversary there. Our waiter, Newman, was the greatest. He went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and that everything went smoothly. We had the Prime Porterhouse for two and it was more than enough. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone!"

"Took friends from LA, who have dined around the world. They commented that the fantastic food, relaxed outdoor atmosphere and terrific service exceeded expectations. We knew that already, which is why we enjoy Saint Second. It ever disappoints!"

"The restaurant had a pleasant ambiance and the food was very tasty. Our server was also excellent. However, I deducted one star because they add a 5% charge on top of tax and tip to "offset high salaries and Covid struggles". I think it would be better if they increased all food prices by 5% so that customers are aware of what they are paying for. I don't like feeling like I am being charged extra for no reason. For a party of 3 (2 adults and 1 child), the total bill came to $150, which seemed pricey considering we didn't order a lot."

"Aside from loving the food itself, Middle Eastern food is usually a joy for me because there is so much that I, as a vegetarian, can eat. The food we sampled at Ammatoli was excellent, aside from one flaw. The flaw as that the spinach in the otherwise marvelous Spinach Kibbeh was still frozen inside. That should never happen at a restaurant of this quality, especially when their somewhat expensive dishes are justified by that quality. However, the mistake with the kibbeh is not the reason for a mediocre review. It is because, for a vegetarian, it's way too expensive. The three mezza dish, which we ordered, costs $29, which is a sort of a deal when you consider that each mezza is about $14 separately. The portions are modest, so for a normal person who happens to be vegan or vegetarian to have a full meal, it would cost $50 $60. And I'm talking about a meal of chickpeas, eggplant, bulgar. For about $30, on the other hand, an omnivore will have chicken or salmon for a dollar less $28 or lamb for a few dollars more, and that includes two sides: like hummas, which, in the mezza plate, comes to $9.33 per item. $9.33 for two spinach kibbehs, served under cooked. I'm comparing items on the dinner menu for simplicity; but we actually ate during the Happy Hour, which reduced the 3 mezza plate from $29 to $22. How about an actual vegetarian plate with an assortment of 5 or 6 items and a few olives and sticks of pickled beets, with smaller portions than the mezza plate but something that overall is comparable as a meal to what omnivores are offered. A pity that a restaurant that could so easily be vegan and vegetarian friendly is not."

"We were lucky to get a good table, but we had to sit next to each other so we could hear each other. It turned out that they have a kind of brunch special, the guests were LOUD! I had the fish. My friend had the veggie burger w/o bun. She said it was great, but I didn't even have a chance to taste it, it had gone in an eyebrow! We have the asparagus that all my Lord Jesus are hot, and the Brussels sprouts were also very delicious. So they definitely know how to prepare their vegetables! We also had a bistro salad with the champagne dressing and that was above the top near me!!! No pictures of the Veggies because we ate them so super fast!!! Delicious!!!"
