"Inconsistent and close whenever the heck they feel like. I work until Midnight and this location is listed as 1:00am and in the distant past has been serving up until; but now they close before I get there at 12:05. I ordered through Uber once and waited 2hours all through being told it?s being prepared, then it was canceled. They don?t answer the phone and I had Uber customerservice call and even then the phone apparently kept ringing. And this was not late night hours. This place stinks!"

"What a pleasant surprise this eatery is, both for its mostly vegan food and for its unique ambience. I would give it 5 stars but Happy Cow allows non-veg restaurants to garner a top rating of only 4 stars. Its food is wholesome, fresh, all organic, mostly local, and except for a few items, either all vegan or can be served vegan. Quote: “At Heirloom all of our recipes begin vegan. That means, with the exception of two items, everything at Heirloom can be ordered vegan. All of our soups, baked goods and prepared foods are always made vegan.” All the desserts are vegan. Their three burgers all are vegan. (Not Only Juice in Willimantic with egg in most of your burgers, are you listening Heirloom speaks fluent vegan here, so be assured that your vegan requests beyond the ample vegan menu are very welcomed. The food is outstanding and the intimate interior unique. While the interior is small in square-footage, it hosts many nooks and crannies that act almost like booths, creating a private dining experience. Even better, there are two outdoor but shaded eating areas, one overlooking Main Street. Exotic plants loaned from nearby Logee’s greenhouse (worth your visit) decorate both indoors and outdoors. During growing season, the outdoor plants here are especially bountiful. And so are the plant-based foods. They serve only breakfasts and lunches. Lunches consist primarily of salads, sandwiches, and one daily soup. The soups always are thick, luscious, nourishing, and satisfying. I always order the underpriced bowls, not cups. The sandwiches are tall and meticulously crafted with always excellent ingredients. To truly appreciate the contents, I suggest eating them layer by layer and with a fork. I recommend the Beta Burger (not to be confused with the Bella Burger, a wedge of portabella mushroom, so not really a burger). Also, another of my favorites is the mock tuna salad. I recommend buying a container from the fridge unit next to the counter, and eating the mock tuna right out of the container. While Danielson is in the northeast very quiet corner of the state, the cafe is only one mile off exit 38 of I-395, and is right on Main Street (look for its small street sign, as the building is set far back), with ample parking in its own lot. 2019 update: you might think this eatery would be a little known, but the good word has gotten around. It gets very busy for lunch even on weekdays, so try to visit other than lunchtime. Updated from previous review on 2016-11-08"

"A fun hip place with excellent food and creative cocktails! Pros: The atmosphere is fabulous. With three floors of bar/restaurant level, it is loud, it is fun, it is beautifully decorated. The Bisontare was amazing. I came with my heart put on the salmon star... or another seafood tart, but the bartender beat Bison, and it was exquisite. He said it was his friend's favorite. If I lived nearby, I would come for another tartar every day of the week. Drink menu is creative, and Garnishes are good. I loved all unisex bathrooms. Each bathroom also had a sink inside. There was a lot, and because they were all unisex with their own sink, there was rarely a line outside of them. So nice that you don't wait behind someone to do their hair or share a mirror. —- Negative: I don't think it's a cone, but it's a little loud. I saw some other groups struggling to have a conversation, but that doesn't seem to be the mood that this restaurant puts on! Think of live DJs and a wall of sound and wonderful lively conversation and laughter. So I wouldn't call it a competitor, but it's certainly something to know. This place is not for a quiet date night. —— Tips: Wednesday night is dollar oyster night! Don't know how long it will take, so get it as long as you can!"

"I ordered an Oreo McFlurry for $7, and it arrived half full! I wish I could share a picture to show you. I also didn’t receive any sauce with my chicken nuggets, even though I specifically requested three sauces. Additionally, I ordered two plain Classic Cheeseburger Packs, but they came as regular burgers. I'm incredibly disappointed, especially since my total was $48 after a $5 tip for DoorDash. What a letdown!"

"Tried 4 G’s for the 1st time. Glad I did. Only a 15 min drive across border from Foster. Guy on phone was friendly that took our order even though they were very busy. Pizza was very good and I ordered a clam belly plate. Was also very good but could have had more bellies. But then again there’s never enough seafood in life. Will definitely return and try more on the menu."
