"This lovely Italian restaurant on Coronado Island offers a menu that includes a vegetarian/vegan section with several vegan options. We tried the gnocchi with vegan pesto and a vegan pizza, both of which were delicious. The staff were helpful in pointing out vegan menu items and suggesting lemon sorbet as a vegan dessert choice. The service was exceptional and we found it to be the best vegan food on Coronado Island. We highly recommend this restaurant."

Located in a converted garage, this restaurant is a fantastic choice for both lunch and dinner. They offer a delicious selection of pizza and pasta dishes on their menu.

"The view from our table was an excellent view of the San Diego Harbor. Our server, Sergio, was very pleasant and accommodating to our needs throughout the meal. the atmosphere was comfortable and enjoyable. "I am from Texas myself, and I've never had real New Orleans food, but I absolutely LOVE this place! It's a little patch of heaven in this city the service was amazing, the food reminded me of home, and the space is small but homey. I would recommend EVERY southern person to come here if they're missing home (also, they did sweet tea perfectly I'll be bringing my husband in for our 3 year anniversary and see if this reminds him of home too?Parking: I had to park pretty far away, but hopefully, that was only due to the Padres game that was happening."

"Nice dive bar, bartenders were awesome, drinks are and reasonably priced. I had the garlic fries which were awesome, and the signature hamburger which was good but honestly not the best hamburger I've ever had. It's not in a great area, but probably worth the trip just to see if this is, indeed, the best hamburger in San Diego."

"I had previously been to LionFish (pre Covid and had an exceptional meal and experience. Hence, why I came back. Hitting the bar might be ok, but this experience was mediocre and has me second guessing another attempt: Ambiance: we were seated in the far back, early dinner (we had a show , so it was a largely vacant room Drinks: I had their special bourbon and fig old fashioned like drink it was overly sweet, hard to taste the bourbon over the sugar crunchy sugar bits in it. Not my deal. Food caveat: I am a celiac and so require accommodations that may mean no sauce (soy sauce is a non starter , but I do expect higher end restaurants to have alternatives as opposed to 'naked ' food. Apps: had the duck tostadas they were good, copious duck, but lacking in anything exceptional. Just dry shredded duck. Good crispy tostada. Just no umph. Dinner: Steak, and Brussel sprouts and the duck entre. Steak was cooked medium, Brussel sprouts had a bland cream (plain sour cream? dolloped on them. The duck was forgettable not succulent, and in my opinion, overcooked (I don 't remember any crispy skin on it... . Overall an unremarkable meal. Very expensive. Two cocktails, two glasses of wine. ALL this for $350! Reflecting on it, I am bummed because the image I have is a 'hotel restaurant ' (which this IS... but not on the scale of The Pendry, which I expect a strong chef to run, but it felt more of a "this came from our production kitchen that is also doing a conference rubber chicken dinner next door. No character. For food ignorants that go for the hype and cool looking bar (or primary access to the club later that night. Ouch. Sorry. Just not what I expected."

"We sang my best friend last night and I celebrated a train. The hostess was very sweet that they tried to receive my offer of switching tables, but it was a Saturday night and it was packed. We sat on a two summit on the way, which was somewhat unpleasant, but again it was so packed. Food and service was amazing, our server was always checked for us and recommended to try the best things. There was a fight that broke out during dinner, but staff and management did an amazing task to calm it down and treat the problem."
