"We checked in to this beautiful little guesthouse and were blown away by the location! Our room has a huge balcony overlooking the mountains (room5) and is very spacious. Great value for money compared to many other places we've stayed during our 3 weeks in...this part of the world. We decided to eat in at the restaurant here and wow! it was a great decision because the meal was absolutely wonderful. Although we had no idea of what was on the menu (because we don't speak or read German) our wonderful hostess helped us to make our choice and we couldn't have been happier! I was even happier after I'd had the amazing Black Forest cake which is really like a liquid liquor filled delight rather...

WARNING.....Went to this restaurant after reading all the five star ratings on this website. Evidently they didn't eat the same food as us! It was TERRIBLE. We sent our food back and opted to try something different. It was also BAD! This has to be...our worst experience in all of Germany.

All right. very good! room was really big with lovely terrace. a stream flows right next to it and brings romantic mood with: a wonderful view of the mountain. cooked with love. chefin and cook were very friendly. we will surely come back! and we can recommend the gas house with a quiet security! we say thank you. natalia and alois top rider. 17.08.2021

very often we spent vacation in the small place kornau at the train tip and therefore know the gastronomy there very well. again and again a highlight is a visit to the restaurant gasthaus am zierwald . the greeting from the kitchen enchants a smile into the face. each plate holds a surprise in itself, such as the like-baked broth, salad ingredients, the quality of the meat or dessert with the lovingly dressed. the care is prepared by a family, both in the kitchen and service, with heart and much love to detail. at least we found nothing better with these numerous stays. elmar u. hedi
