"My husband and I went for lunch. I had the Veggie Quesadilla topped with avocado. Inside was Cheddar cheese, mushrooms, green pepper and onions. Absolutely scrumptious. He had a burger on marble toast; we both enjoyed the fries. Cream of chicken rice soup was yummy.The washroom is very nicely designed with plenty of accessibility . Decor is designed with soft tones pictures with info of different silverware.Staff was super friendly and helpful with the doors. "Checked out Next Mex for the first time after golf at Cog Hill and we will definitely be frequenting this spot this summer after our rounds. The bar and wait staff was extremely welcoming from the moment we walked in. The NBA playoffs, Blackhawks, and PGA tournament were on the TVs without even having to ask! When it comes to the food… the salsa is the best restaurant salsa I have ever had. My buddy loved the Jalapeño homemade tamales and the steak fajitas were some of the best I have had in Chicagoland. Last but certainly not least… the house margs were awesome!"

"I wish there was 0 rating for service because there was NO SERVICE! 1230p on a Tuesday and no one was in the place we now know why. The fish took over 40 minutes and was HORRIBLE. The worst part of the experience was the body that was supposed to be our server SARAH M! She was inefficient, rude and just made a bad meal that much worse. This is why this place had NO ONE at lunch rush , yet the burger/bar place down the street was so packed we couldn’t find a table"

"very tasty the servers are so friendly and beautiful. I recently found out that one of the servers ran out there and I couldn't... he was always so nice to me and my family. he was one of the nicest people I've ever met. I wasn't there the last time my family went and I wish I went with him so I saw him last time. Nevertheless, I and my family still have many great memories with him, for example once, when I was 8 years old, I told him about a book I read that had seaweed that people ate in it. He brought a sign of the seaweed and let me try. This is just one of the many things he has done to make our experience in this restaurant much better. the food is also delicious. anyway, I hope you have a great day and RIP the very friendly server (I don't know his name)."
