"The waiter was very friendly. Our son met my husband and me here for Father’s Day. We haven't been to Applebee's for a long time because my husband stopped going after they took the orange chicken bowl off the menu. The location near us has turned into a teenage hangout in the evenings, which I don't mind, but it doesn't cater much to families or older couples. However, the Audubon Applebee's, where we used to go from 3:30 to 4 in the evening, was excellent—quiet, friendly, and clean. We enjoyed the two-for-$30 steak dinner and loved the garlic potatoes. I thought the portions were generous, with what looked like two large scoops of potatoes. For me, it was more health-conscious portions without feeling too full (even if we took a little home with us). The only issue was my husband, as part of his steak was a bit tough for some reason, while the other three were good. We definitely want to visit this Applebee's again."
