Good Eats Cafe - Étlap

Let me start by saying our server was great! She was attentive, friendly, and helpful. The food, however, was lukewarm and average. Three of the people in our party of six ordered the hash of the day . It was supposed to have sweet potatoes in it, they 're weren 't many (if any). I 'm not interested in sending food back, unless it 's bad. This was just average, earning an average rating.

Been meaning to go for a while, since it's in a strip mall between Pick n Save and Walmart close to Casa Tequila which we have been to and is also good. The only drawback, styrofoam come on people! Styrofoam is not degradable let's save ourselves by not contributing to trash heaps that don't breakdown. I asked if they had alum foil and they did, thankfully. The breakfast burrito was too big for me to eat and came with a side. $16 is expensive and the $4.50 for grapefruit juice was surprising, but it's good food and for the times, I guess value was just okay.

We went in on 1/2/23. They were fairly busy. We asked to eat at the bar. There were 6-8 other people at the bar. A waitress/bartender took our drink order (coffee) and then took our order (eggs benedict and French toast). It took 30 minutes. During that time the person who took our order didn't ask if we wanted more coffee or status on our order. In fact she refused to remake eye contact. Food finally arrived but no silverware. We had to ask the hostess for silverware. Eggs Benedict, English muffin not toasted or even warm. French toast barely warm. Nobody asked how our food was until we asked for a check. Left most of the food. That being said the gentleman/maybe owner did take care of us....
