I love this cafe. The decor, the dimmed lighting, the cozy atmosphere, the friendly staff and the excellent cuisine as an American its everything I love about Europe. I stopped in one night, quite late and very jet lagged, in desperation of a meal after a long two days of travel and was more than pleased with my choice, so much so that I made it a point to return more than once during my stay in Munich.

after a long day of sightseeing we have encountered this very typical German pub. the menu was complete in German, but quite easy to guess what was offered, and two beers are a universal language. the menu is not extensive, but the two burgers and pommes we had ordered were fresh, hot and very tasty. the beer was cold and very refreshing. the whole experience was made so much better by a very attentive waiter from Bosnians, his English was excellent and he really knew himself with customer service. I would highly recommend this hotel if they like remote, non-standard brands of restaurants.
