Greek Grill The - Étlap

I used to love coming to this restaurant, but my last two visits have been disappointing. The soda fountain is out of order, so they only offer canned drinks. The ventilation system is also not working, resulting in a smoky atmosphere. The restaurant is clean and the staff is polite, but the food has lost its appeal. My steak burrito was not cooked properly and mostly consisted of rice. I don't think I'll be returning.

My daughter saw this place online and wanted to try it for lunch on Saturday so we stopped by. This is an odd place, a bit of a whole in the wall with an out of order soda machine and limited seating but pretty cool murals painted on the wall. The place serves Mexican inspired food, I had the avocado burger and it was a very good burger. My wife had the beef nacho's which were huge and pretty tasty. My daughter had the loaded fries which are nachos made with fries instead of chips and they may have been the best of the meals we ordered. The service was friendly, very personable and happy to be serving their customers. We will go back and would recommend this place to anyone that likes local...

I ordered the chicken quesadilla and was pleasantly surprised. I wished the tortilla had more char and less oil, but the flavor was great. I felt it needed more pico de gallo, guacamole, and sour cream. Overall, it was a good experience and I would give it another chance, maybe trying the California burrito next time. It seemed to be a popular dish at this cozy restaurant. Unfortunately, my second visit was not as good. I asked if they were serving breakfast and ordered a breakfast California burrito.
