"I recently moved to Friday Harbor and have visited The Bait Shop twice. On my first visit, I ordered the cod, fries, coleslaw, and a cup of King Crab bisque. Unfortunately, the cod was overcooked, the fries were undercooked and greasy, and the coleslaw lacked flavor. The bisque was disappointing as it had no crab meat, only broth. Hoping for a better experience, I returned for a second visit and ordered the clam strips, fries, coleslaw, and bisque. Once again, the fish was overcooked, the clams were tough, and the batter was too thick. The fries were slightly better but still greasy. Sadly, the coleslaw was missing, and the bisque had no crab meat. I will not be returning to The Bait Shop....

This restaurant serves the best roasted cod I have ever tasted, but it tends to get very busy.

I really enjoyed my fish tacos. The fish pieces were crispy. My friend had the crab bisque that was also delicious. The service was fast and they had one of the chic Coke wells drinking stations.

Fresh, delicious seafood. It is a small restaurant with a limited interior. We ordered our food and stayed outside of benches that enjoy the street view and the live performance of this small city.
